You can use the Vacation Event functionality to create a calendar for your team members’ vacation days. The Vacation Event functionality will allow you to see when each team member is on vacation, as well as when they have vacation days available.

In addition, you can use this functionality to create a report that shows each team member’s vacation days. This report can be very helpful for managers who are looking to schedule projects and assign new assignments to their team members. You can use the Vacation Report functionality by going to the Reports Mode and selecting the “All Reports” sub-menu. From there, you can select Vacation Report in Tracking Section.

How to Approve a Vacations on a Timeline

How to do that? To begin with, only users with the “Manager” role have permission to approve the vacation.

To approve vacations on a timeline, you will first need to create a Vacation Event and assign it to your team members. Once your team member has created the vacation event, it would appear on the timeline.

After you’ve created a vacation, you can approve vacations by clicking the checkmark button on the event. When you add approval to the event, the approval type will be set to “Approved”. However, you can change the approved vacation to unapproved.

To approve it, simply click on a grey icon on a vacation event and click “Approve”. To change the planned start/end date, assignee, or delete the vacation, you should unapprove it first.

In addition, in Reports Mode you can select “Approved Vacations Status Report” to see all vacation statuses. This is a great way to keep track of all of your team members’ vacations and public holidays.
